Dry but juicy! Sweet with ripe apricot flavours yet salty! Delightfully balanced out by deliciously zesty lemon flavours! A fantastic Tuscan orange!
The first orange wine from the Stoppini family who converted the garage of their family home into a winemaking cellar in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, making them the purest form of ‘garagista’ winemakers. The wines they produce are as unique as their ‘garagista’ production method, while still containing a very Tuscan taste due to the sandy soils and Tuscan grape varieties: San Colombano, Moscato and Malvasia del Chianti. The grapes weren’t harvested until late October, which gives the Confine 2019 the full warmth of a long Tuscan summer.Ten days of grape skin contact, light tannin and chewy texture creates a very balanced orange wine full of fruit flavours. Super small production with just 1,800 bottles made of each wine and each label has been created by a local artist, depicting one of the winemakers.
